At Western Hospital GP Clinic, our Women’s Health Clinic provides caring, comprehensive medical support for women at every stage of life — from adolescence and reproductive health through to menopause and beyond. Led by Dr Shaymaa Al-Saffar, an experienced GP with a special interest in women’s health, we offer confidential, evidence-based care tailored to each patient. We take the time to listen, discuss your options, and help you make confident, informed choices about your health. Our Women’s Health Clinic provides a full range of services, including: • Iron Infusions • Contraceptive advice and procedures • Antenatal and postnatal care • Menstrual and hormonal health • Cervical screening and breast checks • Chronic disease management • Mental health and wellbeing

To book an appointment, please contact our receptionist by phone to arrange your appointments 7.30am - 5.30pm Monday to Fridays . Alternatively, you can book online.
Appointments are usually booked at 15 minute intervals. When making your appointment, please advise the receptionist if you feel that you require a longer appointment so that an appropriate consultation time can be arranged.
Longer consultations are available should you require them for specific treatments/procedures.
Cancellations and No-Shows
Should you be unable to attend an arranged appointment, please contact our receptionists to rebook another time. This will assist us in meeting demand for appointments. Failure to notify cancellation of an appointment, with less than 4 hours' notice, will result in a fee being charged.
