Dr Mai Nguyen completed Bachelor of Science and Graduate Diploma in Clinical Audiology and Master of Clinical Audiology and Graduate Diploma of Surgical Anatomy at the University of Melbourne. She completed Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery at Griffith University, Gold Coast.
Mai completed the Adelaide to Outback GP Training Program and is an accredited Fellow of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
Mai has worked in several medical centres and hospitals across Australia. She and her husband provided health and emergency services to rural communities and hospitals while they were working as locum doctors. In 2014, they both settled in South Australia and are actively involved with the local community.
Mai is a devoted mother of 2 young children.
Dr Mai Nguyen has extensive experience in all areas of general practice and is especially interested in Chronic Disease Management, Mental Health, Children’s Health, Women’s Health, and Refugee and Indigenous Health.
